Digital Imaging Final Project

Final Output:  8 X 10 inches, portrait or landscape (Mount the image with the sentences attached to the back of the board). 

Due Date:  Week 11 at the beginning of class

Directions:

Part I:

 In class, we will review Salvador Dali’s Surrealism paintings.  During a surrealist game named “The Exquisite Corpse,” everyone will create unrealistic sentences on paper.  After the combined effort, each individual will end up with five completely unrelated and unrealistic sentences.

Part 2:

Use the five unrelated sentences you received in class to create one unified image.  Use different Photoshop techniques to achieve the portrayal of each sentence. 

Overall, the idea is to create a fantasy-like image.  Be sure to consider your background and any elements that can be used to create repetition for the sake of unity.

DIRECTIONS FOR THE ALBUM COVER

1 – Go to “wikipedia.” Hit “random”
or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 – Go to “Random quotations”
or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.

3 – Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”
or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4 – Use photoshop or similar to put it all together.

5 – Post it to FB with this text in the “caption” and TAG the friends you want to join in. You can remove your tag if you don’t want to do it or show up in your photo album.

So tonight I decided to let you peek into my workspace.

My Mac Book Pro Used to Design

The New iMac Used to communicate and gather Inspiration

The Sony 40 in screen contected to another iMac used for TED.com talks and Hulu.com sessions.

Here is a Resume Design that I just finished for Michael. I’m pretty Happy with it. ^_^

So I have started a company called Modern Trip.

Modern for our young aspiring Idea’s and aethetic.

And Trip for the three founders who started the company.

A 4 up of our logo:

And then the customized BC for each person.

This is the card folded. Showing the logo and then the name and title in white.

Then you open up the card to reveal the contact information and a small description of the job title.

Finally a new myspace layout after 3 years of the old one.

Here is something I did back in Octover for my brother. He is a graphic mod on a forum and asked me to enter one of the Sig of the Week contests. He ended up beating me actually. But here they are.

A little breakdown.

Tag line : Aesthetic Infection. It’s what I strive to do everyday. To “infect someting plain” with aesthetics.

87 would be my birthday.

My face of course.

I wake up and run.

Shower. Eat. Do my hair. Design. Eat.

Add in my phone, Laptop, my language’s and hookah.

Redbull to keep me up. And some chaos and wala! There is my life!

This is something I did about 2 months ago. Finally posting it up.

The first one was a concept that I fell in love with. A shocker. But decided to go a more conservative route to better reach my target.

I turned danimosh.tv from my blog site to a contest site.

Basically creating it so designers can progress and have work to do.

Once a week a new contest will be posted and the designer will get to design and submit the work within the week.

Its ment to be fun. Later on the winner of the contest will win this and that. Money, recognition, what ever.
